Felix advises companies seeking to enter international markets, primarily in the Caribbean and Latin America. He has cultivated extensive relationships with members of the diplomatic community, government officials and funding institutions, both in the U.S. and abroad. As a first-generation Cuban/Hatian-American, Felix has been able to combine his legal expertise with his firsthand cultural knowledge. Felix has traveled extensively to a number of countries over the past 20+ years, participating in and hosting official delegations and trade missions, representing local governments, national associations and various industries.
Felix has been a key speaker at industry conferences in Colombia, Panama, Cuba, and the United States. He is a sought-after voice on the U.S.-Cuba state of affairs and has been profiled in Cuba Business Report, Houston Business Journal, OnCuba and Cuba Trade Magazine. Felix’s civic engagement includes serving as a member of the Engage Cuba state council, and as an advisor for the Caribbean Educational and Baseball Foundation.
Felix received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in New York, his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at New Paltz College and completed an Executive Education Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Felix speaks Spanish fluently, and is a native New Yorker residing in Houston Texas, with offices in Houston and Washington, DC.
